Sips of Air, Slivers of Light

A New Conversation on the Alchemy of Now

It's July. I plan to turn 48 this month, celebrate the 10th year anniversary of our beloved Transformative Teaching Collective, co-host and facilitate our upcoming summit--Healing-Centered Futures at Garrison Institute with our Acosta Institute team, present a panel with sister-colleagues at ABPsi's 56th Annual International Convention--"Returning to Spirit: The Essence of Who We Be," and write. I'm also creating work. Summers are tough for me as a consultant and contract worker, so I find myself turning to gig work again (more about that is in this newsletter).

I also just finished teaching the inaugural Alchemy of Now Certificate Program for the Acosta Institute. Y'all. It's still percolating if that makes sense, so there will be more to come. What is most alive for me is the gift and honor of creating a space where a certification serves to affirm as opposed to qualify. This journey was an opportunity to co-create and witness together participants' capacity to intra-act with what arises in their respective life experiences, lifework, and collective practices. This transmuted certification into a recognition of engagement, co-evolution, and the capacity to (re)member)--rather than a seal of mastery. Addedly, the framework---the voices of the participants are now part of this expanded, living archive.

Last of all, but certainly not the least, I've also been part of two powerful talks. The first is with my sister-colleague Dr, Kia Darling-Hammond, the brilliant creator of the Soul Center Collective, which hosted our Kitchen Table Talk,---a conversation that put The Alchemy of Now in conversation wth Dr. Kia DH's Bridge to Thriving Framework. I hope that you enjoy our talk below! Here is the transcript if you would like: Transcript to Thriving and the Alchemy of Now.

Until Soon,
